It’s Sunday and you know what that means…Are you ready for some READING? Be honest, some of you thought this week's message might be about football. Haha! 😊

What a great week we had at Baldwin Park! It was wonderful to see our Bobcats celebrating reading in so many fun ways. Several classes welcomed Mystery Readers, and many of our students earned Brag Tags for reading and taking AR quizzes. I love seeing our students get excited about books and take pride in their reading accomplishments! Progress reports also went home on Thursday. As you review your child’s progress, please reach out to their teacher if you have any questions or would like to connect about their learning.

And now…get ready, Bobcat Ohana, because this week is PACKED! 📚 Our Book Fair is here, and we welcome parents to visit and shop with their children, as long as they are ADDitions-approved volunteers. We also have our PTA Fall Clothing Drive this week—a great opportunity to clean out those closets while giving back to our community.

We are also excited to participate in Start with Hello Week! 💚💙 This special week is all about spreading kindness, creating connections, celebrating our differences, and making sure everyone feels like they belong. Each day, our Bobcats will have a fun theme and dress-up opportunity to help bring these important messages to life. From “Say Hello in Green” on Monday to “We All Belong Team Day” on Friday, we hope our students will have fun while learning that a simple hello, a kind word, or including someone can make a big difference. Be sure to check out the flyer below for all of the details and join us in making Baldwin Park a place where everyone feels seen, welcomed, and connected! 💚

You will not want to miss our PTA September General Meeting at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24. Come learn more about what our PTA has planned for the year and how you can get involved. Then, stay on campus for our annual International Night from 5:30–7:30 p.m. and enjoy an evening celebrating the many cultures that make our Bobcat Ohana so special! 🌎❤️
