Happy Sunday, Bobcat Ohana!

What a fun week we had at Baldwin Park! A huge THANK YOU to our AMAZING PTA for sponsoring our first Walk n’ Roll event of the school year! It was wonderful to see our students and families gathering at various meeting points and walking or riding their bikes to school together. And who could forget the smiles, laughter, and dancing when Bobby the Bobcat and Mrs. G.P. greeted everyone on roller skates at our impromptu dance party in front of the school? What a fun way to start the day and celebrate our incredible Bobcat community! 💙🐾

As we head into another exciting week at Baldwin Park Elementary, let’s remember that the little things we do each day can make a big difference in our Bobcats’ success! A good night’s sleep, a healthy breakfast, and arriving at school on time help our students feel their best, stay focused, and be ready to learn. Thank you for partnering with us to make sure every Bobcat starts the day feeling confident, prepared, and ready to shine!

On Monday, our fifth-grade Bobcats will take their first Science Progress Monitoring Assessment of the year. We know they are ready to show what they have learned, so please help them prepare by getting plenty of rest tonight and arriving at school on time. A little encouragement and a reminder to do their best can go a long way!

Thursday is an important day as first-quarter report cards become available! This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the hard work, progress, and growth our students have made during the first quarter. Every Bobcat’s journey looks a little different, and we encourage you to take time to recognize your child’s accomplishments while also talking about goals for the months ahead. Teachers continue to share invitations for parent-teacher conferences, providing a valuable opportunity to connect, celebrate successes, discuss progress, and work together to support your child’s continued growth.

Thank you for being such an important part of our Baldwin Park family. The partnership between home and school makes a tremendous difference, and we are grateful to have such a caring and supportive Bobcat Ohana. Let’s make it another wonderful week of learning, growing, and cheering one another on!
