Aloha Bobcat Ohana,

 

Rain, rain, go away… our BPE Bobcats want to play! ☔🐾 Last week certainly was a rainy one, but that didn’t stop the fun at Baldwin Park! Our students and staff had a wonderful time celebrating Rock Your School Week, with Mystery Readers, exciting STEM activities, and lots of hands-on Math and Science learning. And who could forget our rocket launch on Friday?! 🚀 It was such an exciting way to bring learning to life and give our Bobcats opportunities to explore, create, and discover. A huge thank-you to our amazing teachers and staff for making these experiences so engaging and memorable for our students!

I also want to extend my sincere thanks to our incredible staff and community for helping Baldwin Park reach and surpass our goal for the Fall Stakeholder Survey! 💙 Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts, ideas, and feedback. Your voices matter, and your input helps us celebrate what is working well while identifying opportunities for growth and improvement. By listening to our families and staff, we can make informed decisions, strengthen our school community, and continue working together to provide the best possible learning experiences and support for every student. I am so grateful to be part of a community that cares so deeply about our Bobcats!

There are also wonderful opportunities to get involved at BPE this week! Our School Advisory Council (SAC) will meet on Tuesday at 3:15 p.m. in the Media Center, and all families are welcome to attend. This is a great opportunity to learn more about our school, share your ideas, and have a voice in the decisions that support student success. We also encourage parents of our ESOL students to join us for the Multilingual Parent Leadership Council (MPLC) meeting on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. in the Staff Lounge. Your participation in these meetings helps us build stronger partnerships between home and school, ensure families feel heard and connected, and work together to create the very best environment for our students. We hope to see you there!

Just a friendly reminder that there is no school for students tomorrow, Monday, due to a teacher workday. I hope all of our Bobcat families enjoy a wonderful Monday off! Take this time to relax, recharge, and enjoy some special moments with your family. We look forward to welcoming our Bobcats back to campus on Tuesday, ready for another great week of learning and growing together!

Students get ready to explore, create, and discover! STEM classes are returning with Mrs. Youngblood, giving our students exciting opportunities to experiment, solve problems, and bring their ideas to life. We can’t wait to see what our young innovators dream up!
